Mikado is a heavy, lustrous fabric with a beautiful drape that has a long history in bridal fabric. As a twill weave (meaning threads are woven over and under two or more threads at once), Mikado has a slight, diagonal grain that lends itself to a particularly smooth drape. This printed mikado is digitally made and has a medium weight to it, perfect for a full scale dress or any project that requires a big design.
